AJT Landscaping is a trusted landscaping company based in Ash, Surrey, proudly serving homeowners and businesses across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey.With over 14 years of hands-on experience, we specialise in high-quality garden landscaping, soft landscaping and garden maintenance, delivering outdoor spaces that are built to last and designed to be enjoyed.Founded on strong values of craftsmanship, reliability and personal service, AJT Landscaping has grown from a one-man operation into a skilled, professional landscaping team – without losing the friendly, local approach our clients value.
Our Story
AJT Landscaping was established in 2012 by Alex, who began working independently, providing regular garden maintenance alongside smaller landscaping projects. As demand grew, so did the scope of work, and the business gradually transitioned towards larger, more bespoke landscaping projects.
As the landscaping side of the business expanded, Dilon joined as a full-time team member – a role he still holds today. As a dedicated two-man team, workloads continued to increase, often requiring long days on-site to meet client expectations.
In 2021, Alex made the decision to grow the business sustainably by building a structured team. Experienced team leaders and foremen were brought in to manage projects on-site, supported by skilled landscaping workers. This allowed AJT Landscaping to deliver multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the high standards clients expect.
Today, AJT Landscaping operates with two fully equipped landscaping teams, each led by an experienced foreman and supported by skilled assistants. This enables us to take on everything from complete garden transformations to specialist landscaping installations with confidence and consistency.

Alex Tickner
Founder & Director
Alex founded AJT Landscaping in 2014 with a passion for creating practical, beautiful outdoor spaces. With over a decade of experience in garden landscaping and business development, Alex now focuses on design, project planning and growing the business – ensuring every project meets AJT’s high standards.
Aron
Foreman
Aron joined AJT Landscaping in 2022 with over 15 years of experience and quickly became a key part of the team. His attention to detail and forward-thinking approach make him a natural leader, giving the business confidence to grow knowing projects are in safe hands. A great landscaper and friend, he also has a passion for music and good coffee.
Jack
Foreman
Jack joined us in 2024 and quickly became a self-sufficient and valued member of the team. He brings a great sense of fun while upholding the high standards AJT is known for, consistently delivering excellent results on site and working confidently with customers. An exceptional machine operator, he enjoys time with his family, his dog, and a glass of red.
Dilon
Landscaping assistant
Dilon has become a confident and integral part of the team after 10 years of service, developing into a skilled assistant who’s always happy to get his hands dirty and get stuck into anything. He’s polite, great to be around and brings good energy to site, especially when the sun is out!
Casey
Landscaping assistant
Casey joined us in 2022 and is known for his “nothing is too much” attitude. He is always the first to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in. A true family man with an incredible sense of humour, he brings both hard work and personality to the team – and enjoys a cold beer after a good day!
Max
Landscaping assistant
Max joined the team in 2020 with experience from previous landscaping roles and brings a strong problem-solving mindset to every project. A calm and capable presence on site, he’s also known for his time spent wakeboarding on the lake and his all-round easy-going nature.
Finn
Landscaping assistant
The youngest and newest member of AJT, Finn brings a strong can-do attitude and is always ready to get stuck in… whatever the weather. Often the muddiest on site, he’s not afraid of hard work. Finn is quickly building his skills by learning from the team and embracing every opportunity. He’s also recently discovered a love for coffee, which is fast becoming a daily essential.
